Next meeting:
March 7th
5pm Alfy’s Pizza & Pasta

Date: Tue, 13 Feb 2007

Meeting was called to order by president, Joanne Luster at 5:00 P.M.. Minutes were read by Bonnie Smith, secretary. Treasurer's report was by Mark Thompson.

OLD BUSINESS:
Speakers on Craig's List didn't work out so Lato and family bought new speakers from Radio Shack with warrantees! Good work (and for much less than the used ones)!! A BIG thanks to you guys.

The visit to Dreamers is being postponed until the fall. They are building a new shop along with the present shop and it won't be completed for several months. Mike Burks will keep us posted.

Mike Burks had no report on Kla Ha Ya Days, he will meet with the committee in late Feb. and have a report next meeting.

NEW BUSINESS:
A visit to the Museum of Restoration was discussed. If weather permits they would bring out a plane to photograph with our cars. Neat idea!

Biggest news is that we are having a work party to prep the trailer that needs a lot of work before it can be painted. Sam and Mark will get a list of equipment and tools we will need. Jack Harding has offered his garage to house the trailer for the work party. I have Jack's address and directions which I E-mailed. The date for the work is 2/24/07 and we agreed that we would be there by 10:00 A.M. Everyone is welcome.

Constitution by-laws-- Sam brought the revised sets all typed out and stapled with the proposed changes marked (a LOT of work!). He suggested we take them home and study the changes and how they would affect us. We will vote an the changes during the March 7 meeting.

Our quest for more members is an ongoing activity. New members don't have to be Boeing employees, present or past. We will run an ad in the Boeing local newspaper. Jim Taylor and Bob Bailey came to our meeting and joined our club. Happy to have you!!

George Luster and Mike Smith took care of the split-the-pot and the clock raffle. The clock was won by Mike Burks who donated it back and we will repeat the clock raffle in March. George Luster won the split-the-pot so was paid for his work.

Sincerely,
Bonnie Smith, Secretary
